Ouingdir Monastery
Settled in the Northern reaches of the Strickened Gulf, West of the port town of Hedrig’s Point, the Ouingdir Monastery is the peak of a mountain submerged by Hettis in his initial arrival to Hyfaer. At the pinnacle of the mountain rests a monastery, isolated from society.
The island and the monastery get their name from a dead elven language, roughly translating to “Forgotten Men”. Used in the beginning of civilization as a place of exile, those who survived the solitude and thrived formed and built the monastery at its peak.
It is rumored that even Thessil forgot the island and its inhabitants. Mages of many orders have attempted to scry the happenings on this island, all with no avail.
